Pre-election special ops kicked into high gear on Election Day as UC Davis students, sans clothing, stormed packed campus lecture halls armed only with signs that read "Stop the Naked Corruption: Yes on 77!"
In a last minute pitch to help their fellow students see more clearly on the issue of redistricting, the student duo stormed several classrooms throughout the Davis campus, some of which had as many as 500 students in attendance. It was unclear if the Davis College Republicans group had any direct link to the activity. "I can neither confirm nor deny any involvement in this project," commented Ryan Clumpner, the group's Immediate Past Chairman. While the College Republicans does not neccesarily condone such actions, they clearly showcase both the drive of young Republicans in California and the ability of CCR members to remain on the cutting edge of earned media by approaching important political issues in new ways. |
