It's official; nobody does it better.
Throughout the 2005 special election, California College Republicans made their presence known on campuses and in communities through a variety of earned media events. Many of these “special ops” were old standards, while others were truly unique and deserve a place in the CR archives and “How To” guides across the nation.

This message (Yes on 73-77) spelled in rye grass mysteriously appeared one day at a student hang-out in UC Irvine. Although divine political messages such as these appear frequently on college campuses (especially those with CR chapters), it is quite rare for God to take such a bold stance on ballot measures.
Every college town has it’s landmark; in Davis, it's a spot on the Sacramento levy next to Interstate 80 where fraternities and sororities spell out their names in rock. Typically, each new sunrise reveals that the rocks have been changed to represent a different fraternity or sorority, although the Thursday before the election, things took a turn to the right.
Always the over-achievers, Irvine CRs couldn’t decide between doing a street side rally or operation “Burma Shave”. Behold...operation “Burma Rally”.
