The 2006 CCR Field Program kicked off this week at CSU Fullerton. Field
Representatives Tierra Warren and Jacqueline Bengel spent the week at
CSUF helping to recruit new members for the young club and make
arrangements for the first meeting of the year.
Tierra, Jacqueline and Fullerton CR chairwoman Alyse Fulbright together
recruited 280 new members and posted 350 fliers advertising the first
meeting.
“The vibe that we got from the majority of the people we signed up was
energetic and makes me hopeful for the club,” said Jacqueline. “Alyse
is great and I am confident she will do wonderful things with
Fullerton's CR's and all of the new recruits!”
“I am so appreciative of what this week with the Field Reps
has done for our club. I've gotten email after email from new people
saying how excited they are for the upcoming semester,” said Alyse.
“There were 39 people at our meeting! It was an amazing turnout and I
plan to keep the momentum up.”
The chapter at CSU Fullerton was founded during the Field Program last
year after several years with no CR presence on the campus. It is the
alma mater of several prominent Republican elected officials including
Congressman Ed Royce and Assemblyman Chuck Devore, both of whom were CR
leaders during their time at CSUF. We would like to thank them for
their ongoing support of the club.
We would also like the thank Michael Davidson and Generation Next for their continued support of this valuable program.
